The Housing Agency is fully committed to developing and supporting all our employees in all their work and activities and in all areas of the organisation. The Agency also recognises that a workforce with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences widens the talent, knowledge, and skillsets of our staff which benefits colleagues and all stakeholders.

Our Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Activities
The Housing Agency has committed to the following ongoing activities:
Internal Culture and Inclusiveness E-Learning Program for all staff with modules including;
Dignity at Work
Unconscious Bias
Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity and Inclusiveness Recruitment Training for all staff involved in the recruitment processes at The Housing Agency
People Management Training provided in areas including LGBT awareness and inclusion, gender equality and disability in the workplace
Regular diversity led announcements from the CEO and the Senior Management Team for staff that outline new initiatives and relevant policies and procedures
Updating all internal organisation documents, intranet, and website to reflect the importance of recognising and celebrating a diverse workforce in everything we do at The Housing Agency
Anonymous staff surveys organised to measure the effectiveness of diversity culture and all initiatives rolled out. Results will be made available for all staff and Board members of the Housing Agency
Providing a confidential and encompassing EAP service that all employees can reach out to at any time and without concern
Our Reasons for Signing Diversity Charter Ireland
Diversity Charter Ireland’s values align closely with our own core value of placing people at the heart of everything we do at The Housing Agency. We look forward to sharing our journey as we develop our diversity program of events with other Charter members as well as learning about new initiatives and ideas, we ourselves can also implement for the benefit of our staff.
